We are excited you are interested in bringing your dog to daycare at Kool K9!

We limit the number of dogs we take in daily and new dogs must be able to fit into our existing pack nicely in order to attend. Please complete and return the Pre-Screening Questionnaire so we can understand your dog better.

Please read the important information below before completing the questionnaire.

Here is information you will need to know prior to attending our daycare:

  • Your dog must be current on age-appropriate vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough).
  • Any dog 6 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
  • All dogs must be flea, tick, and parasite-free.
  • We are not able to accept any dogs that show any type of aggression towards people or other dogs.

We reserve the right to dismiss a dog from the daycare program for any reason.  Our goal is to be open and discuss any issues that may arise while your dog is attending daycare so you are always aware if there are concerns about your dog.

The following is a list of our requirements:

  • Leashed when entering and exiting our facility
  • At least 10-weeks old, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines
  • Spayed or neutered (any dog 6 months or older)
  • Friendly with people
  • Friendly with dogs
  • All adult dogs current on the following vaccines:
    • Rabies
    • Parvo/Distemper
    • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

If paying by credit card, payment must be made through Gingr, our online service, at the time of reservation by purchasing store credit. Alternatively, you can put a credit card on file with us when you drop your dog off that we will charge at the end of each day of daycare.

Cash or check payments are preferred to avoid credit card fees and must be made by the time your dog leaves daycare.

If your dog cannot come to daycare on its scheduled day, we ask that you please contact us to cancel 24 hours before.   Messages can be left on our voicemail 24 hours a day or you can email us on our contact form here. If we do not receive a cancellation call or email, we will be forced to charge a $15.00 no-show fee for the reserved slot.

Getting Started

Reservations are required for all dogs coming to daycare, but it is easy to get started!

STEP 1: Submit Completed Pre-Screening Questionnaire

We require you to download and complete our Pre-Screening Questionnaire and return by email. Please include any questions you may have about our daycare and what date you are potentially looking to start (any day except Fridays).

Email the completed questionnaire to us at kathy@koolk9nh.com.  We will get back to you as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours.

STEP 2: Complete Two Forms & Gather Medical Records

While waiting for our response, fill out our Daycare Contract and Medical Release Form. Gather vet records showing Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough or age-appropriate vaccinations and proof of spay/neuter for any dog over 6 months old. All of these documents can either be emailed back to kathy@koolk9nh.com or you can bring them with you on your dog’s first day.

Completion and submission of three forms and vet records are required prior to starting.
